Case Studyo & James Jarvis “Amphora” Vase

Case Studyo & James Jarvis “Amphora” Vase

Case Studyo -the Belguim-based brand- continues to present thought-provoking objects while involving themselves in unique collaborations: a case in point being their latest tie-up with British illustrator and toy designer James Jarvis.

Jarvis -a pioneer of the soft vinyl designer toy revolution who began his career at London’s esteemed Slam City Skates skate shop- has created a sculpture, titled “AMPHORA”, that is also fully functional. “AMPHORA” is derived from the Greek word “ampiphoreus,” which translates roughly as “barer,” and references the artist’s anthropomorphic approach which sees the vase portrayed literally as a water bearer. The vase is limited to 100 examples and comes signed and number with a certificate of authenticity.

There’s no release date as yet, but check out Case Studyo’s website for more cutting-edge ceramics and pottery.
